Hello! My name is Sarah Pringle. I am 35 years old and have been married to my husband, Kyle, for almost 9 years. He is from Miami, but thankfully was willing to move back to my hometown in Texas after we were married. I have a background in civil engineering – tending to love all things nerdy – and we both work for my family’s company. We have two boys who constantly keep us on our toes. Ryder (7), Hayes (4), and we are expecting a girl in April, 2017.
We live for adventure. Some of our favorite things to do include road trips, wake surfing on the lake, camping in North Carolina, snow skiing/boarding in Colorado, hanging out with South Florida family, relaxing with my family, playing baseball and mountain/BMX biking.
After my boys were born, I started to realize how important it was to set a good example for living healthy. I started focusing on me first. It sounds selfish, but to be my best and set an example, I had changes to make. In the past 2 years I have seen a huge growth physically, mentally and spiritually. Along with it, slowly but surely, my family has also made permanent healthy changes.
In November 2015, I competed in my first bodybuilding competition. I learned so much about self-love and self-acceptance. However, as much as I learned to love me for me (including the saggy skin stretch marked belly) I still struggle with body image. I have not mastered the mental battles, but I am here fighting for me every day.
I love showing up for others. Cheering them on in their corner, and pushing them to be the very best version of themselves. Being a mom and finding time for your kids, while still finding time for you AND eating right, getting enough sleep, running a household, etc is hard. But we are strong and able and best of all – we are not alone.
